BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!! Train comes through every hour or more overnight and shakes the entire building. Between midnight and 6am, the train came through 8 times. Our children woke abruptly and were terrified each time. The a/c did not work in the bedroom and it smelled like mold. We left exhausted and tired with 2 very upset children within 8 hrs of arriving. INTEGRITY ISSUES WITH HOST TOO. He agreed that if he rebooked he would refund us. He did rebook for atleast 4 nights then refused to answer our calls/messages and VRBO’s calls/messages - basically double dipping. All documented on VRBO chat.

Tout est parfait la seule chose que je n'ai pas aimé c'est qu'on m'a donné un logement qui n'était pas sur la photo que j'ai choisis on m'a donné un autre juste à côté du passage de train c'était fatigant.

The description of this listing doesn’t accurately convey the nuisance caused by the train tracks adjacent to the property. Throughout the night, 6-7 trains came by and blew their horns. Each time the train ran by, it shook the entire property. It was impossible to sleep. We left a day early. I asked the property manager to consider refunding the second day, since we could not continue staying there, and I received no response. I also asked for the check out procedures so we could leave early - again, no response. The location is not good enough to justify the stay here, and although the property was tidy, I can’t recommend it to anyone, particularly at this price point.

Amazing location with quick access to the beach, restaurants and all the fun of Old Orchard Beach!
